Her room doesn't have any upgrades, just some furniture dragged over from the ruins, including a spot already set up with a couple of chairs, chess, and a tray of wagashi. You gotta make an absurd amount so it lasts.]
Thinking of, how have you been feeling lately? Or maybe there's been so much that you've hardly had a chance to notice whether you're back to normal.

Still processing a lot of it... and a lot of things are still pretty... [overwhelming] So I haven't really been away from Sparrow too much lately, but also we had a lot of turnover on the team again...
[he's tired. looking very old and tired with his eighteen year old face, gosh. there's really no hiding that anymore. or the fact that he is actually sad about losing Sparrows and being somewhat at a loss with three new people all at once, but he smiles, still, because Battler Battlering along.]
So it still feels "normal", at least in that area.
Jessica turning up... not so much, but it hasn't been so bad.

Why else would someone pick white, especially saying it like that? Unless it was your father, he would be thinking something like "the good guys wear white hats, so I'll play white and be the hero".

Maybe he didn't always have the right idea, and he could be callous or cruel too, but I don't think it's bad to be compared to him a bit. I know no one wants to be like their parents, really, but at least you only picked up some charming qualities. I don't say that just because I happen to be attached to that man, it's not about him. Wanting to act like a hero is just sweet.

Do you really think it has to be something big to be considered helping? Even if that was true and you never manage to be helpful, it's still thoughtful to care that much. Definitely still cute, too.
Even if it's not nearly as much as you would like though, you do help people. Even just acting like that - that's a big part of the reason you do it, right? It works, that joking around puts people at ease.
