[oh, good. In that case, she puts an arm around his shoulder to try to be reassuring.]
His heart is exposed and being stabbed, he's hurt. I don't really care if you're angry with one another or want to say that only one is real - I just don't want to see you hurt yourself. Or silently allow yourself to suffer.
[the slightest pressure on his torso has him wincing and hissing in a breath but he's not protesting the action itself, just kind of watches the exchange warily, wearily.]
You don't want to see me hurt myself... [the uninjured one sounds incredulous before he gestures around them] What do you think you were doing this whole time? No one asked you to spy on my life. You ignored the actual goal purely for your own self-interest, prolonging the suffering. Liar!
I thought I would need to gather forms of evidence or find things to be fixed. I left things alone that seemed like they would only be prying. ...I don't want to argue with you, I just want to help. I'm sorry if I've misunderstood the right way to do that and accidentally hurt you more, Battler-kun.
I'll give you this much: you didn't have the wrong idea of it if you're wanting to engage in my game over whatever this place has done. The same way I got not real explanation for the rules in my game with Beato, you didn't either. So I'll make it clear.
Red is a witch's truth. It is a truth that is objective and cannot be refuted. There are limits to them, however.
Blue is a human truth. As long as it fits within the red truth's perimeters, it's permitted and will stand as a truth in its own right.
However... in a different game I've played, there was another color. Purple truth is a truth that works in place of a red truth so long as the individual in question is not a killer. If the person is a killer, they can tell whatever truth they'd like in purple.
So this is my game. If you can't disprove my purple truths, they will become just as real as my red truths.
I see... I was thinking I would find supporting evidence, but I guess I can't use much more than my own knowledge of you, huh? You've certainly made it difficult.
Come on, Battler-kun, do you really think I'm that stupid? Ushiromiya Battler qualifies as a killer, therefore his purple doesn't have to be true. You're just trying to pull a fast one on me because I'm new to this.
So you agree you wouldn't be saying them otherwise. Got it.
Battler-kun, can I have something to make him feel a bit more comfortable? I'll feel bad if we sit here debating while this Battler is doing so badly. I can see that I'll need to do some hard work to get it to release his heart, but...
I am Ushiromiya Battler. I am born from the theories of what happened on Rokkenjima in the future after 1986. I am also born from the mind of someone who knows Ushiromiya Battler.
Is it handing me answers if I happen to think of a good question?
[She shrugs.]
Then I think you still count as Battler, and you came into existence while thinking about the events of Rokkenjima. So the first two are true. I don't think your own mind, even if you have a different name or whatever else, would count as someone who knows Battler - after all, if that person knows Battler, he wouldn't have to think so hard about it.
On the other hand, you could definitely say that if the last two are true, then the first can't be. But that's not the way I see it, anyway.
I know what kind of things are being theorised. That doesn't make them the truth, and that doesn't mean you have to accept all of them as part of you either.
[But she hates the way the injured Battler reacted, so she crouches down to look at him, and to get a better look at his chest.]
Battler-kun... Do you want me to try to help? I think trying is better than leaving you like this, but if you think I'll only make things worse, if it's just hurting you more... Ange and Rika-chan should be coming soon.

He's fine.

I have been the one speaking the words in purple. Whether there's an influence on me or not, that fact does not change.

Spot the lie.
I am Ushiromiya Battler.
I am born from the theories of what happened on Rokkenjima in the future after 1986.
I am also born from the mind of someone who knows Ushiromiya Battler.

and then he laughs.]
Are they good questions? You didn't even ask what people would be saying after Rokkenjima.
Well, I guess they're not theories anymore if they're treated as truth.
